INNODESIGN PRIZE Global Innovative Design Competition, after years of perseverance, has now become an innovative design competition with certain popularity and global influence. In 2022, France INNODESIGN PRIZE International Innovative Design Competition will be upgraded to INNODESIGN PRIZE Global Innovative Design Competition. In collaboration with Redwood Art Media Group, Association of Professional Interior Designers (Dubai), Dubai Design Week organizing Committee and etc, INNODESIGN PRIZE will provide participating designers with a broader global stage for innovative design, and jointly promote the global influence of INNODESIGN PRIZE winners.
In 2014, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, the first INNODESIGN PRIZE was initiated by the City Hall of Metz, France;
In 2017, INNODESIGN PRIZE was officially supervised by the French Collective of Innovative Design and established the international jury team to ensure its professionalism and high level ;
In 2018, Set up the Chinese representative office of INNODESIGN PRIZE in Beijing, to encourage more excellent Chinese designers, institutions and enterprises to participate;
In 2019, Asia-pacific designers Mr. CHENG CHI-MIN and Mr. WEIQUAN LONG were invited to be the members of the international jury team;
In 2020, Textile design category was added to the existing categories of industrial product design, industrial object design, space and interior design and communication design;
In 2021, an academic committee was established based on well-known universities’ professors, and an Asia-Pacific professional jury team was established too;
In 2022, France INNODESIGN PRIZE International Innovative Design Competition was renamed and upgraded to INNODESIGN PRIZE Global Innovative Design Competition;
